The Ministry of Jesus Our High Priest (Hebrews 4:15-16)

• He sympathizes with our weaknesses
• He has been tempted in every way, just as we are
• He was without sin
• He gives mercy and grace to help in our time of need

The Order of Jesus Our High Priest (Hebrews 5:1-10)

• Aaronic high priests represented the people to God
• Aaronic high priests could be gentle with people because of their own weaknesses
• Aaronic high priests offered sacrifices for their own sins
• Every high priest must be called and appointed by God
• Jesus was appointed a high priest forever in the order of Melchizedek
• Jesus our perfect high priest is the source of eternal salvation
