The Ministry of Jesus Our High Priest (Hebrews 4:15-16)
- He sympathizes with our weaknesses
- He has been tempted in every way, just as we are
- He was without sin
- He gives mercy and grace to help in our time of need
The Order of Jesus Our High Priest (Hebrews 5:1-10)
- Aaronic high priests represented the people to God
- Aaronic high priests could be gentle with people because of their own weaknesses
- Aaronic high priests offered sacrifices for their own sins
- Every high priest must be called and appointed by God
- Jesus was appointed a high priest forever in the order of Melchizedek
