Demystifying Discipleship
Many Christians misunderstand or misinterpret the true nature of Biblical discipleship: being a disciple, or follower, of Jesus. Recall our series earlier this year on Biblical Fellowship. Fellowship isn't just having a meal together in a church gymnasium. It may take place there, but fellowship is much more than that. In the same way, we may think of Biblical discipleship as a course of study: we take a class or read a book. Again, it may take place in a class or be the subject of a book, but it's much more than that. Biblical discipleship is fundamentally an attitude and a lifestyle.
